VoIP Case Study for Internet Sales Australia

The Case Study participant:
Internet Sales Australia (ISA) promote, sell, supply flowers online.

Location:
Internet Sales Australia are located in Queensland with staff in excess of eight.

Case:
Interesting story - ISA had installed a new phone system sold to them by another phone system provider (we won't mention names). The system was sold to ISA as VoIP compatible and VoIP compliant, and was running multiple engin accounts on ATA's to get some sort of line presence, but again experienced poor quality and dropped calls. The reality was that the system was somewhat useless over Australian SIP rules - experienced excessive dropped calls and could not handle multiple calls at the one time. ISA were introduced to Harrisontech by engin to assist in rectifying their issues. Harrisontech bluntly advised ISA they needed to pull out their new system and replace it with one capable of perfoming the tasks that were required.

Calls in queue was very important to ISA as many purchasers preferred to call and order rather than order online and the queues could get somewhat excessive.

Solution:
Harrisontech installed a smart business grade IP PBX that allowed for 4 X PSTN (fail-over) incoming calls rotating around Telstra lines and then transferring over to the now one engin account installed (reducing plan costs). The one engin was perfect as the VSP on the particular IP PBX system as it could handle all incoming and outgoing calls, and allowed ISA to cancel the now not required accounts.

Operation:
The IP PBX integration provided smart and controlled call queuing with rotations to available workstations. Although the IP PBX system was more expensive than the original phone system that was installed, finctionality and quality was superior and allowed reduced overheads, plus much more...

Controlled phone system which produces low cost telephone bills by engin.

Final Assessment:
A perfect solution was integrated into ISA taking away the pain they experienced. This should be a good example to all that cost is not everything and some organisations will tell you anyting to get a sale.
